Not alone in the desert

God, I'm realizing more and more that I'm not alone in the desert. In fact, You even deliberately walk me into the desert, not to punish me, but to cause me to thirst only for You. You are the only stream in the desert that can truly satisfy. Help me to know that you never leave me alone, and that You walk with me each step of the way. Forgive me when I take swings at you in misguided anger, I've just been dehydrated for too long. Holy Spirit, I rely on You!
